What I’m wondering is, where do you store the suspenders that you would obviously need to wear in order to keep your pants from falling down, from the weight of all that stuff in your pockets?

(NukeDad) It wasn’t EVERYTHING in the drawer, sheesh! I donated all of my suspenders to Larry King when he made the move to CNN years ago.

(NukeDad) Tom, Skoal is interchangeable with the Copenhagen. Any gum in a round package will fit as well. If you switch to a pouch, I’d suggest putting that in the upper portion of the valet. Hope you get what you ask for on Father’s Day!

You put your stuff in the junk drawer?!? (Our version of the catch-all drawer.) Why would you do that? It’s almost a guarantee that something vital will be lost. And, really, all that stuff goes into your pockets? Glad I have a purse to stuff all my junk into.

So glad you have a place all your own to put your stuff.

(NukeDad) Not EVERYTHING in the first picture went in my pockets-and usually only MOST of what’s in the valet goes in my pockets; the MP3 player doesn’t always make the cut. I also would put it all in the FRONT of the drawer and would only be perplexed when the NukeKids would mix stuff up.

(NukeDad) I’m not saying that eating healthier shouldn’t be everyone’s goal, but forcing people into it by taking away their right to chose is ludicrous. Behavior cannot, and should not be legislated. Sin taxes? I can almost agree with some of those, but who’s to decide what is and isn’t a sin? When does a sin tax become a convenient scapegoat for governments that can’t control their spending? NYC’s tax on a pack of cigarettes is almost $7. Those smokers may not quit, but they’ll probably move-and then when all that tax revenue disappears, the city will just find something else to tax, cuz God knows they aren’t going to budget or spend any less. It’s a never ending cycle that just ends up screwing the people; smokers/non-smokers, soda drinkers/non-soda drinkers, junk food junkies, etc. It has to stop.

(NukeDad) People just don’t think about the big picture-they think giving up a little freedom in this “one isolated incidence” is OK, never realizing that there have been lots of little incidences before and many more planned for the future. Before they know it, all choice is gone and they end up pissed off and wanting to point the finger of blame at someone, but never themselves.
