Ouch. He's a tough kid. When I was in grade school, one of our friends had that type of meeting with a volleyball net pole. His face hit a bolt or something jutting out. It took a chunk out of his cheek. I last saw him in high school and he still had the scar. (NukeDad) I had a friend that met the tether-ball pole at full gallop in grade school. I turned my head around right into a metal pole once when I was a kid…builds character.

Looks like NukeBoy2 toughed it out and quickly recovered.

I would have cried like a girl. (Ok, I am one.) The photos look painful and cool all at the same time. I can't believe you got him to pose! The tree had an unfair advantage in size, unseen roots and in the sneak attack! (NukeDad) It was a very crafty tree. Later in the day it short-sheeted it's owners' bed, then it toilet papered itself.
