I am hoping we have had our last snow of the season but last year it snowed in April... The pictures are beautiful, the best way to enjoy snow for me, either inside a warm apartment with hot chocolate and nowhere to go/be or having it somewhere else and in pictures! 4 inches is a decent amount even for up here, glad you all made it through it with fingers, toes, and paws all intact!

(NukeDad) I remember living in El Paso and getting 8 inches of snow in April one year. That's like 4 years worth of snow for down there.

Looks like the kids had a good time out in the white stuff...but dude, I agree with Stacey: Those shots of the trees are postcard-worthy, if not downright frame-able.

(NukeDad) Thanks, Celluloid Pop! I may have to get some of those developed, they did turn out pretty good. Not bad, for a rookie!

Oh and btw, drop the bookworm routine for heaven's sake. We miss you hanging out.

(NukeDad) I know, I know; I'm trying to find a happy balance. Might be in trouble for the next week or so because I just started "Atlas Shrugged"; it's 1,400 pages of tiny, tiny typeset. I'll either finish it or go blind tryin'.

Beautiful pics! Now that's the way to have snow!

(NukeDad) We only had to shovel once, not 4 times a day like you poor saps up in Chicago. I giggled a little bit as I watched NukeBoy1 finish it up.

all ribbing aside, you should enter that first picture in a photo contest. WOW

(NukeDad) I was surprised it turned out that good with my little Kodak EasyShare. As soon as I saw it across the street, I though: whoa!

You know it has been in the 80's with a low in the 50's for the past couple of days. You know how that works.....when you leave the house....should you take your jacket or can you run for the door until it warms up? Turn on the heater or open the front door? The weather here changes every 10 minutes, but it's almost 10 o'clock p.m. on a Friday and I am outside in a t-shirt. I love the pictures, but are you sure you don't miss the desert just a bit????? love you

(NukeDad) Stace-I DO miss the desert; but I love the trees too. That was the thing about El Paso: lotta beach, no ocean. ;)

The kids do look like they are having a wonderful time! It looks so good on film, but can be so miserable in life. I'll keep the sand.

(NukeDad) Ha! True; our driveway has Northern exposure, so the ice stays there forever. It was nice to have enough for them to play in, and then have it disappear 3 days later.

Beautiful! The kids must have loved that. The trees always look so great when they're covered in snow like that. This has been a bizarre winter, for sure. We've gotten a lot more snow than we ever have before.

(NukeDad) We actually got less snow than we usually do. We also got less Ice Storms, which was nice.

I bet you know which photo is my favorite!

I know how rare snow is for you down there. I'm glad your kids (and probably the dogs, too) got to enjoy it and it's making a speedy retreat. That's how we like our snow too. :) (we're not so lucky, mostly.)

(NukeDad) You're right, I'm glad it left in a hurry too.
