A Dream For Momo
Dear Momo,
Poor, sweet, delusional Momo. I know that you think your Buckeyes have a shot tonight, but I need to remind you of something. It’s after January 1st. Everyone knows that Ohio State can’t win football games in January. Well, the ones that count, anyway.
Don’t get too down, though; I want you to keep your dreams alive! You’ll still have a chance to win National Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics, Air Rifle and Chess. All admirable trophies to add to your case. Even though this game isn’t for the National Championship, we all know that one of the teams should be playing for it. You know which team that is, right? The one that actually WINS them when they get there. That would be the Longhorns; in case you were confused.
See, they make those toilets in Texas too. Didn’t color the porcelain, though; that would be a waste of good dye. I look forward to your complete and total submission tomorrow when you are forced to post about the magnificence that is UT Longhorn football. You might want to start some research.

This is fun to watch. I hate to choose sides, but I did. I used to live in Ohio. I could care less about football (actually I couldn’t), but can’t wait to see tomorrows post.

I will gladly jump on the UT bangwagon; grew up in Austin, went to school there, as did my husband and AND we go home to watch as many games as possible. As a mater of fact we will still be wiping our eyes as we watch the game from our couches in NJ, even though we HAVE 4 tickets to the game.
Alas, it will be worth while to get a bowl game over and done with. Quick and painless.

as my hubby would say “is it football season? how many homeruns did they get?”
we are true rednecks, if it don’t have wheels on it, we don’t watch it. GO NASCAR!
but i must add, in true girly fashion (you know you’re supposed to pick the team by their colors or their mascots, right??), if i were to choose between a buckeye and a longhorn i’d have to pick the longhorns. they taste better!

They play football in college, huh? Who would have thought. Now the last time I checked real football was being played on the weekends and with professional teams.
Seriously, this carnage should be fun to watch. Just need to step over the blood stains.

Its posts like these that always make me wish I hadn’t gone to art school. I love talking trash, but just can’t. We’d all just line up on the sideline, look at our team and say things like “the composition is there, but is it FOOTBALL?”, or “what do you think the coach was trying to say with that play?” Pretty sad.

Congrats on your team with a yummy mascot’s victory over the team whose mascot I can’t figure out what it is let alone if it is edible or not (I like Nonna’s selection criteria). I can’t figure out if I should cheer for or against ISU’s men’s bball team, they stole my locker room multiple times resulting in my not getting my beloved after water aerobics shower (limitless hot water mmmmm). If they keep losing (I think they’ve been losing) they might have extra practices to try and improve and therefore are more likely to steal my locker room again but I am too pissed at them to want them to win…
(NukeDad) I can’t argue with your logic, If I were a college student enjoying unlimited hot showers, I think I’d wish for an extended roadtrip for the team.
