This Christmas season finds many families in economic hardship. The hardship becomes worse when it happens to a household that only has one income; if the breadwinner loses their job, the savings dry up quickly. If that household has 5 children in it, then a Merry Christmas becomes more of a challenge. The World of Weasels is one of the many victims of the economic downturn as WeaselHubby is out of work. That means that 5 Weasels will be disappointed this Christmas unless we do something about it. After celebrating the birth of Jesus, isn’t giving of yourself to others the reason for the season? Tom over at Being Michael’s Daddy got the ball rolling with an email expressing his desire to help out. Big Bad Daddy then took the bull by the horns, yanked out it’s nose ring, jumped on it’s back and rode it for 8 seconds and then some (don’t ask me how I worked a rodeo reference into a Christmas post, just go with it). It is now up to us to ensure that the Weasel Christmas goes on as planned. Please visit Big Bad Daddy Rant and make a donation to Save The Weasel Christmas! He has set up a donation button through Pay Pal. You can donate using a credit card or your own Pay Pal account. Help spread the word! This is so awesome to see everyone rallying together for a cause like this. Tom, BBD, ND…you guys rule. If we just didn’t put a stop payment on our mortgage I would help out, but all I can offer are my hopes that things work out for WM and her crew.

Wow, get busy with work and totally miss the bandwagon! This is a great idea, I was trying to think of something like it, glad you all got it going. Oh and I sent Flat WeaselMomma’s clothes today so hopefully you will have them by Tuesday.
