Nuke them all! We need more term limits, we need to get rid of career politicians, we need to not depend on foreign oil, we need to stop exporting all the damn jobs. I told my dad that Obama's "Change you can believe in" is actually referring to the change that is left in your pocket after he taxes away the rest. When I was a deli clerk I was forced to join the union, it was required in order to work for that store. Every month they took my money, I don't think I ever benefited from them. They very likely donated money to candidates that I didn't want to support and when our contract was up they pretended to fight for us but in the end lied and we basically got the original contract they told us was so awful. I think there should be a law, if a union is going to endorse a candidate they have to have a vote of all members and whomever the majority chooses gets the endorsement, and if they are going to donate money to a campaign the money allotted for it should be split by whatever percentage each one got in the vote, that is how much of the money they get. To me it would just be better if they weren't allowed to donate to nor endorse campaigns in the first place. Perfect example to me of how no one gets off their butt and gets rid of a corrupt official would be Mayor Daley, how many scandals is it going to take?! (NukeDad) Preaching to the choir... Yes it is...oh, and by the way. In case anyone brings it up. I DID pay attention to what I was getting myself into. I did NOT accept a snake-oil-salesman-drafted balloon-payment, suicidal ARM. I read all the fine print, researched and got help with what I didn't understand, and invested my money (that I worked every day for and paid taxes on), as intelligently as I knew how to do. I am not standing on the edge of the abyss and looking for someone to blame for my own actions. I, as a voter and a taxpayer, did NOTHING to contribute to this downturn. Nothing. I completely agree with you on this one. This is all a bunch of junk. I have endured utilities increases, so union DWP workers can enjoy the biggest pay raise in history, soaring gas prices, higher property taxes, lower home value, a rapidly shrinking 401K and so much more just so I can now owe 2300.00 (4600 if you count my wife too) more to help bail out the people who got me here in the first place? When this kind of complete meltdown happens within any company I have ever worked for, you know what happens? House cleaning. I don’t understand why the opposite seems to be the case here.

(NukeDad) It’s maddening, isn’t it? Unfortunately, in a world that lives and dies by the soundbite, not enough people will pay attention or care enough to vote the bums out of office. I know a few freeway medians that need trash cleaned out of them. What size orange suit do you think Chris Dodd wears?
