Wow, now I’m extra famous! Eukaryote is a great word, I work with prokaryotes myself but happen to be quite fond of several eukaryotes. And so you don’t have to read through the likely excessively wordy definition, a prokaryote is a cell that lacks a nucleus and other “cell organs” (organelles, aka the complex cell structures) in its cell goo.

These posts remind me of Cliff from Cheers. Seems like the kind of words he would pull out and use incorrectly (which is what I would do if I even tried to pronounce one).

Hurray, you used "cromulent!" My pride is embiggened. I'm surprised the link provided on the word meaning doesn't mention that the word was made up specifically for The Simpsons.
